ConsentPro – "Open Preferences" button only works on homepage

Hey everyone,

I just noticed something strange with ConsentPro. The open-preferences button I placed in my footer only works on the homepage – which is also where the ConsentPro Global Component is located.

The banner itself seems to be working fine on every page (ConsentPro shows correctly across the site), but the footer button doesn’t trigger the preferences panel anywhere else.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Is this just happening on my site, or is it a more general issue?

From my side, I don’t think there’s much I could have done wrong in setting it up. I followed the docs exactly:

Use the open-preferences attribute on any element to make it an “Open Preferences Panel” button.
Use a text link, div block, or image to act as the trigger to open the preferences panel. It’s common to add a “Open Preferences” button in the footer so a user can access their preferences on any page. Add the attribute fs-consent-element="open-preferences" to any element to make it a trigger.

That’s exactly how I set it up.
If anyone wants to take a closer look, I’d be happy to share a Read-Only link via DM.

For context: I also have Use Global Banner enabled in ConsentPro, and the component itself is only placed on the homepage.

Thanks in advance :raising_hands:
