# Modal closes when resizing the window

Hi,  
I have this strange issue where my popups close when resizing the window.  
and the open triggers only work after a page refresh.

talking about the video popup in the slider. and the before footer cta.

I am using the finsweet modal attributes to work with. it does function fine until the resizing.  
any ideas why? or how to fix this?

I found the issue. apparently, **webflow interations do reset when reaching a breakpoint.**

I am using JS now for the popups and no webflow interactions applied at all.
