Hey @tobias2!
Sorry you’re hitting this login issue
. We can see you’ve already tried multiple browsers and private windows — those were exactly the right troubleshooting steps.
This “Login Failed due to invalid response” error when launching the Consent Pro app has shown up before, and it required our team to investigate on their end. The good news is we’re familiar with this type of authentication issue.
Could you try one more quick step?
If you haven’t already, try accessing the app in a completely fresh incognito/private window (Chrome or Firefox) just to rule out any cached session data.
What would help us investigate:
- Are you on a corporate network or using a VPN?
- If possible, can you grab a screenshot of the full error message?
We’re escalating this to @Support-Luis and @Support-Pedro to look into it right away. We’ll get you unblocked
Hey @tobias2!
Could you double-check if your browser is blocking pop-ups?
You can verify this by going to site settings
And ensuring pop-ups are allowed in the setting below
Hi Support-Luis,
Thank you for the hint. I did try to allow pop-ups in my first attempts but that didn’t do the trick. I ended up solving it, but it was a rocky road. This might give you a bit of insight:
I used another Mac and tried four other browsers: Chrome, FireFox, Brave, and Comet. The former three all had approximately the same set of extensions installed, the latter didn’t. It was clean. And that’s the one that ended up working for me. When I wanted to switch back to Chrome, where I usually work with Webflow, Consent Pro wanted me to log in again, and I had the same problem. So I configured everything around Consent Pro in Comet.
My hunch is that it was one of my extensions (I don’t have a crazy amount, but maybe one that gives Consent Pro a hard time). That was also Claude’s hunch, amongst other possibilities that I all ruled out.
Hope this helped. If you’d like to have more specific information, feel free to email me.
Best,
Tobias
Thank you for the update @tobias2!
I’ve shared this with the team in case we can identify if something was interferring with the app.
