I am experiencing a blocking issue with the Finsweet Consent Pro app where I am unable to create or update a cookie banner due to a persistent “Endpoint URL” error.
Initially, I had Infinite Components installed and a V1 opt-in banner working perfectly. When I tried to upgrade the banner to V2, the upgrade failed, throwing an error: “Please fix the following errors: • Endpoint URL - Must be a valid URL.” Note that I am on the Basic Plan, so I do not have access to premium logging features that would typically require an endpoint.
To troubleshoot, I performed a completely clean slate:
-
I uninstalled and deleted the Finsweet Components app.
-
I manually removed all related V1 consent banner elements from Webflow.
-
I reinstalled the Consent Pro app from Webflow.
However, the system still seems broken. Even on a fresh install, when I try to create a brand new banner, I get the exact same “Endpoint URL” error and cannot proceed. My website is currently left without any cookie banner.

Steps to Reproduce
-
Open the Finsweet Consent Pro app in Webflow.
-
Go to the Configurator to create a new Opt-In banner (or attempt to upgrade an existing V1 banner).
-
Set up the standard Instance and Banner Settings.
-
Click the “Create Banner” (or Update) button.
-
See the error message appear at the bottom right.
Expected Behavior I expect to be able to create or update my consent banner successfully. Since I am on the Basic Plan and not using external consent logging, the system should not require or check for an Endpoint URL.
Actual Behavior The system blocks the creation/update of the banner and displays an error message: “Please fix the following errors: • Endpoint URL - Must be a valid URL.” There is no visible field in my Configurator to remove or fix this URL, leaving me stuck in a loop.

Note that I am on the Basic Plan, so I do not have access to the premium Logs feature. There is no visible field in my Configurator to remove or fix this URL. To troubleshoot, I completely uninstalled the app, deleted the v1 elements from Webflow, and reinstalled Consent Pro from scratch. Even on a completely clean install, I am getting the exact same error and cannot click “Create Banner.” My website is currently left without any cookie banner.
