CMS Slider not working on Production live site (but is working on Staging)

Hi I’m perplexed at why my Attributes CMS Slider is working on Staging, but NOT on Production.

Perhaps the cause is because I accidentally deleted the associated hidden collection list, and when I realized it, I remade it (yes, with the attribute “fs-cmsslider-element=list” added), but since then it only works on production. How to fix it?

Another thing to mention is that I installed the FS Components app to test out the new marquee, but then I deleted the app for the project. Not sure if that would affect it.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @hello7! I have just taken a look and you are missing some elements from the layout.

The collection list items are empty, which will cause the collection list not to be rendered on the page. This list is also missing the fs-cm slider-element = list attribute.

Also regarding the list, I would highly recommend placing it outside the Webflow slider element as the script will clear any HTML element before adding the items as slides.

You can place it inside a div and add the hide class to said div wrapper.

Your slider’s attribute has the -2 instance attribute. You can remove it, as you will only be using one slider on this page.

If everything is correctly set up, there should be no difference between using the staging domain and the production domain.

However, let me know if you need any help!

hi @support-Luis, Many thanks for the reply.
I have implemented everything you mentioned.
see this screenshot.

Only the staging is working (Section with title “Hear it from our colleagues”) you can click next, or swipe.
Staging However, still not working on Live Production… you cannot click next. it only shows the first card.
Production

IMPORTANT: This slider WAS working perfectly fine before i installed and removed the Finsweet components app (to test out the new component marquee). Event though I deleted the app, the CMS slider in question hasn’t been working since.

Meanwhile, I am going to purchase a mostly licence for FS components slider to test on another page, to rule out if it is that or not.

Hi Luis,

No worries, I figured it out.

(I did try the paid Finsweet components and it still wasn’t working.)

SOLUTION:
In the end, it didn’t have anything to do with Finsweet products.

My client had added a bunch of tracking codes repeated
in the global header and footer. Once cleaned up it worked!

Thanks
