The Webflow app just freezes at “checking migration status”. It’s been running for multiple hours and it doesn’t really get anywhere. I’ve tried to uninstall the app and reinstalling it. It doesn’t help. Yeah, and the thing is, for this project it has never been running v1. It’s only been using v2. So I don’t understand why it keeps checking for migration status.
I’ve seen this happening on other projects as well.

Your v2 Consent Pro setup on the live site is actually fine — the fs-consent-element and fs-consent-instance=“opt-in” attributes are correctly in place, so your visitors are getting the proper consent experience. This looks like an app UI issue rather than anything wrong with your actual banner.
Before we loop in the team, it’s worth trying a few quick things:
Open the Consent Pro app in an incognito/private window to rule out cached session issues
Do a hard refresh while the app is open (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows)
Close the Webflow Designer completely, reopen it, then relaunch the app
If none of those help, we’re likely looking at an app-side bug. We’ve seen cases where the migration-check logic incorrectly triggers for projects that were v2 from the start — which would explain why it’s stuck on a project that never used v1. We’ll flag this for the team to dig into either way.
