How to use "ignore Cookies" in Consent Pro

Hi I want to understand how to use the “ignore cookies” section in the Consent Pro app, the tool tip says “Names are case-sensitive” but I do not understand how to find the ‘name’ of a cookie.

The issue is Typekit, which is installed through Webflow. As a user, I do not have access to that script.

The message reads: “Cookies listed here will always be considered Essential and will not be blocked or deleted, regardless of the visitor’s consent choices. Use this for cookies that are strictly necessary for your site to function. NOTE: Names are case-sensitive.”

This is my site https://www.anchoamagazine.com/

Hey @max5!

To find cookie names for the “ignore cookies” feature in Consent Pro, you’ll need to check your browser’s developer tools:

In Chrome (or any Chromium browser):
*

  1. Open Developer Tools by right-clicking → “Inspect” or press F12
  2. Go to the “Application” tab
  3. Under “Storage” on the left, expand “Cookies”
  4. Click on your domain (anchoamagazine.com)

Look for Typekit-related cookies from your domain or Adobe/Typekit domains. Common ones include:

  • adobe_target
  • AMCV_*
  • s_cc
  • s_sq

Once you find the cookie names, add them to the “ignore cookies” field in Consent Pro. These will be treated as Essential and won’t be blocked regardless of consent.

What cookie names are you finding? We can help determine which ones to add!

Thanks Luis. Does clicking “dismiss” here (screenshot) do the job of making sure, in this example, that Typekit always loads? I don’t see any Typekit related cookies in the Storage you’ve pointed to. Is there a way to whitelist, eg “typekit” and also “memberstack”.

These are the cookies in the storage.

Correct! If the script does not issue any cookies, you can simply ignore it within the app.
