Description
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well.
I’m currently working on a Wized project, and my client originally started with a simple landing page to collect emails from interested customers before launch. That landing page was set up with the Basic, Monthly plan.
As the project evolved, we ended up creating a separate Webflow project for the app’s front-end design.
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to transfer the existing Consent Pro plan from the original landing page project to this new Webflow project. We are going to transfer the domain to this Webflow Project but wasnt sure of the steps to also move Consent Pro over
Thanks so much!
Additional Context
I am under an NDA for this project, so I would ultimately need to discuss the details (staging link/domain) in the DMs…this is more a general question for research/planning
Hey @lovebrian649! Since you’re on a monthly Basic subscription rather than a lifetime license, you have a bit more flexibility here. Consent Pro licenses are domain-based, so the plan is tied to your site’s custom domain rather than the Webflow project itself.
Since this is an account/billing operation rather than a standard technical setup step, there isn’t a documented self-service flow for moving a subscription between projects. There are two paths worth exploring:
-
Reach out to support@finsweet.com directly and ask about reassigning your existing monthly subscription to the new project/domain. Since your new project will be taking the domain anyway, there may be a way to update the domain association on the backend without needing to cancel and re-purchase.
-
Cancel your current plan and start a new subscription for the new project. Since you’re on a monthly plan, this is always an option — but it’s worth checking with support first to understand any billing implications before going that route.
Given the NDA situation, emailing support@finsweet.com is probably the cleanest path — you can share the specific project and domain details privately there without posting anything publicly.
Once the licensing side is sorted, feel free to come back if you have any setup questions on the new project!
