Can't open, delete or otherwise interact with a collection I "un-bound" with the Finsweet Extension app

Description

Can’t delete or move a collection I “un-bound” with the Finsweet Extension app. The original collection is fine, I’m talking about the duplicated version.

Site URL

Required: Please provide a staging/production URL where we can see the issue

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Visit the page in the designer to see the 2 collections at the bottom of the navigator. There are 2 as I tried to unbind twice.
  2. I selected the customers_list collection and used the Unbind CMS tool from the extension

Expected Behavior

I expected to be able to interact with the collections and move them

Actual Behavior

I can’t interact with them

Hey @hello6!

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately this seems to be a Webflow related issue. We will look into the issue and report back with more information.

Apologies for the inconvenience :folded_hands:

Thanks @Support-Luis

Hey @hello6!

Could you revert the site to a backup version before unbinding the collection?

If you’re unable to retrieve a backup, I recommend contacting Webflow Support. They are aware of the issue and should be able to restore the project’s functionality.

Once again, apologies for the inconvenience :folded_hands:

Hey @Support-Luis, I’ll contact support. I’ve done to much work to restore from a backup. If it wasn’t on a collection template page, I’d just delete the page and start again :slightly_frowning_face:

Is this a a bug with the Finsweet Extension?

@hello6, I understand that Webflow Support will be able to fix the issue without negatively affecting the progress you’ve made after the bug report.

It looks like this was the perfect edge case between the Extension and Webflow. The unbound list was generated without the Collection List Wrapper, which caused the functionality to break.
