Hi there, I would like to implement a simple to update CMS image gallery (it can even be up to 25 images max). I would like to use CMS multi-image field to use with the new Finsweet Slider.
Is there any way of doing this? Or is there any other way around this? I Dont want to create multiple singular image CMS items or create Collections where we have singular images only.
See picture below for reference of design. Imagina that each of the image
This is possible natively! Let me try to detail how I managed to set this up
Add a collection list to the page and link it to your collection with the multi-image field
With the collection item selected, open the Finsweet Components app and create a CMS Slider
Connect this CMS Slider Collection list to the multi-image field
Style and configure as needed
Done!
An important consideration is that the multi-image field for all items must contain more images than your “Slides Per View” parameter for all sliders to function properly.
Please let me know if you give this a shot or if you have any issues!
Do you have to use the Finsweet CMS Slider for this to work or can you use the native webflow slider? Confused since you meantioned it’s possible natively. I’m having trouble with this too - that is, getting more than one slide/image to show up in the slider when published.
I actually would like to see how this is setup, because I’m also struggling to implement this as per the instruction.
@Support-Luis would it be possible to see how you set it up?
Main point is that we want to use Multi-image CMS field. When I nest collection within a collection to get the multi-image field option - the FS slider doesn’t let to create a slider when selecting it.
