Dependent dropdown filters

Hello, I wonder anyone can help? I am stuggling to understand the method to have two native webflow select field components filter a collections list. Ideally these need to be dependent on each other for example: after selecting a ‘category’ of lighting in the first dropdown the second dropdown shows only the ‘features’ of lighting shown in collection list. I have gone so far as to create the first dropdown list (populating it with a seprate collection list and separating the two using instances), but the second dropdown is proving a bit of a challenge. The second dropdown is populated and will filter by a nested collection list that is bound to a multi select field in the CMS. Is there a straightfoward way to do this? The result I am after is similat to this:

Hi @studio2!

It seems your read-only link isn’t working. Could you check it and send it again please?

Hi Pedro, Opps, sorry! see below. I can also supply a Agency or Freelancer invite if more useful?

Hi @Support-Pedro, did you get to look at this at all, just need a little nudge in the right direction!

Hi @studio2!

You could try using the Dynamic Filtered List method to achieve this:

Check the docs here!

And here is a YouTube tutorial: Build Dynamic Filters in Webflow without code using Attributes v2

Also, here is a live demo: List Filter for Webflow - Dynamic Tutorial

Let me know if this fits your solution!

Hiya, yes I have already looked at this there are not enough variables in the filter to warrant such a complex filter menu - it requires too much user input. I ma strugging to get the second select field to be populated with the correct product attributes, can you help with that at all?

Hey @studio2!

You could also look into the empty filters setting we have for List Filter.

I ma strugging to get the second select field to be populated with the correct product attributes.

Could you share more info on this? Can you share the staging link so we can take a look?

Hello, thank you here’s a staging link: https://leyton-staging.webflow.io/apartments

and heres what we are trying to recreate. Thanks for eh empty filter attribute setting - looks good but I am having problems populating the second dropdown at the moment.

You are welcome!
