Hey @iqlogic the fs-cc-consentmode=“true”
solution is for the old Cookie Consent. Are you facing any issues with the Components version?
Hello @Support-Luis,I understand that this is for old Cookie Consent, but you did provide a solution ( [Monthly Product Update | April 2024] (https://www.youtube.com/live/j8tvkaBUxJQ?t=770s)), where Joe mentioned this part of code fs-cc-consentmode=“true”. However, I was hoping you could provide clearer information on how to implement it. You have also indicated this on the old cookie banner website: “Deprecated: no new features, only maintenance. This solution will continue to work normally if it is already implemented on your website.” Therefore, I assumed that support for Google consent mode v2 has been implemented in the old cookie banner as well. Could you please provide guidance on how to use it properly?
We are hopeful that the new components solution will be beneficial for our new projects, but we would also like to maintain the older projects with the older solution, as you mentioned that it would continue to function normally.
Thank you very much.
@iqlogic, Apologies.
I am afraid I cannot provide any kind of support for the old Cookie Consent due to legal reasons.
Hey everyone,
Just a quick update before closing this thread— the old fs-cc
has been deprecated and will no longer receive updates or support.
The new Finsweet Cookie Consent Component, available in the Webflow app, is the latest version and includes built-in support for Google Consent Mode v2 and custom events. You can find all setup details and features in our documentation.
If you’re still using the old fs-cc
, we recommend migrating to the new Cookie Consent Component in the Finsweet Components app to stay up-to-date and fully compliant.
Thanks for all your input and questions in this thread! If you need further assistance, check out the documentation or start a new discussion.
