Issues with Safari display and filters using Finsweet Attributes (CMS Filter + Load)

Hi everyone,

Link: Explorer nos photos

I’m experiencing an issue with Finsweet CMS Filter and Load on my Webflow project.

On Chrome, everything works perfectly — filters, layout, and lazy loading are all fine.

However, on Safari, I’m running into two main problems:

  1. Layout issue (Safari MacOS):

The CMS items don’t align properly — some photos overlap or leave large gaps in the grid. It seems like the layout doesn’t recalculate or reflow correctly after filtering or page load.

  2. Filter issue:

Sometimes the filters (especially the “Photographers” filter) don’t update the results correctly or show wrong item counts (0), even though there are items available.

For example, filtering by a specific photographer works on Chrome but shows empty results or incorrect counts on Safari.

It looks like both issues are related to Finsweet Filter + Load interaction, possibly with Safari’s rendering or timing.

Any suggestions or known fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Vincent

Hey @vincent1!

For issue #1.. How are you achieving the masonry effect? Are you using an external library? Or is it pure CSS?

For issue #2.. I can’t seem to replicate the results with the search term you shared. I’ve tried with other names, and the facet count and the empty state are shown correctly. Could you please share a Loom of this from your end?

I’ll have a look!

Hey, it’s pure CSS. I can send you a read only link in private, since there is a lot of protected images.

Yes please! My DMs are open!
