I have a question about the new Agency plan/pricing for components. Typically I build my clients’ sites on my WF workspace and then transfer them over to our client’s workspace when ready to go live. If I purchase a Components Agency Plan…
1. would my client need to purchase a whole new subscription to keep components active on their site once I move it to their workspace?
2. Would my client need to purchase a whole new subscription to allow me (or the client) to edit the components in their site/workspace?
You can connect your client’s production domain to your Agency Plan subscription. This works whether the site is in your agency workspace or the client’s workspace. The key is an active subscription with a connected domain.
No extra subscription for the client. If their domain is connected to your Agency Plan, your client won’t need to purchase their own subscription to use or edit Components.
Reminder: Components work for free on .webflow.io staging URLs, but custom domains require a paid plan, and each project needs its own subscription.
