Hey @webadminif!

Your marquee setup and code are actually fine — the attributes fs-marquee-element, fs-marquee-instance, and fs-marquee-type are all correctly structured, so this isn’t an implementation issue.

Here’s what’s going on: Finsweet Components are free to use on .webflow.io staging URLs, but they require a paid subscription to work on custom domains. When your custom domain was attached, the script detected no active subscription connected to it and intentionally removed the component from the page — which is exactly why you’re seeing that gap.

This also explains why staging stopped working: once a custom domain is attached to a Webflow project, the license check applies to all published versions of that project.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Head to your Finsweet dashboard at my.finsweet.com
  2. If you already have an active subscription, find it and connect your custom domain to it — this is almost certainly the missing step
  3. If you don’t have a subscription yet for this project, you’ll need to grab one — the Marquee-only plan is a $19 one-time payment, or there are all-components bundles available
  4. Once the domain is connected, republish your site and both marquees should start working

Could you check your dashboard and let us know if you already have a subscription set up there? That’ll help us point you to the right next step :folded_hands:
