The marquee disappears in production

Hello there,

I set up a marquee with the Finsweet application.
As soon as I publish in production my website, the slider appears for half a second and then disappears. It’s no longer possible to display it.
However, as soon as I publish it on my staging url, it works.

Do you know why?

Hey @rodrigues.oliv!

Finsweet Components are free on .webflow.io staging URLs, but custom domains require an active paid plan for Components to function properly. Without a valid plan, the component loads initially (hence the brief flash) but then the script stops working, causing it to disappear.

To fix this issue, you’ll need to:

  1. Subscribe to a Finsweet Components plan for your project, you can fiond the pricing table here
  2. VConnect your production domain to the license, this can be done at checkout or in your Finsweet Account dashboard
  3. Verify the plan is active for your specific project

We offer monthly/annual subscriptions on a per-project basis, as well as lifetime plans that are a one-time payment per project. Each project using Components on a custom domain needs its own active plan.

Once you have an active plan, your custom domain should work properly and the marquee should load and stay visible consistently.

Let me know once you’ve set up the plan, and we’ll be happy to help verify everything is working correctly! If you need further assistance, @Support-Luis or @Support-Pedro can help you.

Thank you for your feedback and clarification.
