Synch not working, delete not working, Editing logs out of account

I am having big issues with CMS birdge miss behaving.

Everything was working fine when CMS bridge was set up. We then transferred the project to the client’s webflow workspace, re-authorised the integrations (zapier, CMS bridge) but CMS bridge doesn’t seem to be working anymore.

  • I have tried re-authorising airtable and Webflow and trying to synch the existing connections, but it just tries to synch for ages before failing to do so.
  • When I tried to create a new connection to replace the faulty connections, it won’t let me since I already have a connection for the same Airtable table/Webflow CMS.
  • When I try to delete a CMS bridge connection, it just won’t delete it. And when I try to edit a CMS Bridge connection, it logs me out of CMS bridge.

I am needing to deliver this integration fully working this week and really don’t know how to fix this since I can’t delete/edit/create new connections. Could you please help me fix the integration?

Please see Loom video.

Hey @peter4

It looks like the issue is with the Webflow tokens. I believe you may have deleted them in Webflow after setting them up in CMS Bridge.

To fix this, you’ll need to delete your CMS Bridge connections and recreate them. However, make sure to first delete the referenced connections before deleting the main connections.

Also, there’s currently a bug when editing connections that have issues with the Webflow token. We’re aware of it and will be working on a fix.

Let me know if this works.

Hey @besart

We deleted nothing from Webflow - we only transferred the project to the client’s workspace.

Deleting some of the referenced connections worked, but it seems like we can’t delete the last few remaining ones, no matter the order we try to delete them. See loom recording

Hey @peter4

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble deleting the connections. We recently fixed an issue related to editing connections when the Webflow token is invalid, but we’ll investigate this deletion issue as well.

In the meantime, could you try deleting the reference fields of all connections first and then attempt to delete the connections again? Let us know if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Hey @besart

Deleting all the reference fields of the Airtable tables isn’t an option for us. We have more than 14 tables connecting to each other. This would be too big of a work to redo ontop of the CMS Bridge connections. Is there a way to reset out CMS bridge to simply start the connection from scratch?

Hey,

I was thinking about deleting reference fields just inside CMS bridge connections not in Airtable or Webflow.

You can do that by clicking this delete button:

And try to remove connections.

Hey,

Sorry this isn’t working either. I have deleted all the references within a connection, but it is still not letting me delete that connection afterwards.

If we were to create a new CMS Bridge account, would you be able to transfer the payment plan to the new account? We need to urgently have the Airtable to Webflow connection working this week.

Hey @peter4,

Just to clarify:
If you want to delete Connection B, but it’s referenced by Connection A fields, you first need to remove the reference fields from Connection A before deleting Connection B.

Try this:

  1. Remove all reference fields from all connections in CMS Bridge.
  2. Then, delete each connection.

In the upcoming version, we’ll also make this clearer in the UI once Airtable approves our block submission.

If that doesn’t work, please DM me here in the forum with your email, and I’ll fix it for you.
